Design for all
At studio maiszon, we believe that everyone deserves a space that provides comfort and serenity. Founder and principal interior designer Tori Szabadi merges her passion for design and humanitarian service. Collaborating with non-profit organizations like the Rotary Club of Westchester and Pen+Napkin, she designs spaces for those in need.
Pen+Napkin Collab
Pen+Napkin is an organization that pairs interior designers with families transitioning out of homelessness. For this project, we furnished a 3-bedroom apartment for a mother and her five children who had fled domestic violence.

St. Margaret’s Center
St. Margaret’s Center is a Catholic charity that provides vital services to very low income and homeless individuals and families. The Center receives over 500 clients every week, providing services in a cramped, poorly equipped former strip mall. Working with the Rotary Club of Westchester, we overhauled the building- renovating the reception lobby, staff offices, a counseling space and two classrooms. We were proud to provide the Center with spaces so desperately needed by the community and selfless staff members.

Westchester Townhouse
The Westchester Townhouse is a 75-year old clubhouse for the various youth groups in Westchester, California (a suburb in Los Angeles). The space was well loved (and well used) for decades, leaving the space in need of new flooring, windows, curtains, interior and exterior paint, a refresh of the stage, and storage lockers for each youth group. We worked with the Rotary Club of Westchester to bring new life to this cornerstone of the neighborhood.
